How do you know when you are a vibrational match to that which you desire?

Q: In reading the article, "Maintain the Creation" you speak about vibrational match. How do you know when you are a vibrational match to that which you desire?

A: The short answer to your question about vibrational match can be summed up in the question -- "how do you feel"? Jesus talked about "vibrational match" when he said, "fear ye not evil", "turn the other cheek", "do not talk about this to anyone", "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind", and "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

You will know you are a vibrational match when your dominant feeling is positive. Your attraction meter (which registers your vibration) is your feelings. Your inner guide speaks to you through your feelings and is saying when you feel positive,"Hey, keep going - you're in alignment with what you want" and when you feel negative your guide is saying, "Hey, stop, you're NOT in alignment with what you want". When you feel predominantly positive then you are predominantly in vibrational harmony with your desires. Any slight feeling of negativity, even as slight as ennui, lethargy, or resignation, is your signal that if you keep thinking the thoughts you're presently thinking you'll create something out of harmony with what you really want.

For example, let's say you want to attract your ideal mate. In order to become a vibrational match you would meditate on your desires for a partner, work diligently on becoming all that you want your mate to be, choose to be fulfilled and in joy in all that you do and focus on taking action both spiritually and physically to create your mate. If this were all you did, then you would be a vibrational match to your desire.

However, since most of us are human, we look at what we're getting and if it isn't exactly what we think we want then we reject it as a failure, a mistake or a poor joke played on us by the Universe.

Let me illustrate this point by borrowing a client's recent challenge.

Being a physically fit, totally health-conscious, energetic, youthful 55-year-old widower with a verve for life that is highly contagious, this client was experiencing "signs of land" that were either "too old because they weren't fit, healthy and energetic" or "too young because they didn't have the emotional maturity or hadn't achieved career satisfaction and stability." It was easy for him to think positively when in the throes of visualizing and affirming in meditation. However, the challenge came when the results of his efforts looked like they were too old or too young at first glance. Upon observation, the doubts would instantly impede his mind and he would begin to spiral with the negative feelings of frustration, irritation, fear, sadness, loneliness, and unworthiness.

These emotions are the rocket fuel that expands our manifestations. The more powerful the feeling the more power you are feeding your creations. Those negative feelings are literally our Angels tugging at us and saying, "STOP! You're focusing on what you do not want!"
Fortunately, since it is impossible to monitor the never-ending stream of thoughts, we have a fabulous mechanism called our feelings that let us know whether we are a vibrational match to our desires or not in any given moment. Negative feeling = negative creation. Positive feeling = positive creation.

The key here is to pivot from the negative thoughts to positive thoughts. This is done not by denying that you are having negative thoughts but by reaching for a thought that you can believe and a thought that feels better. Here's the process simplified:
Ask, "What am I feeling?"

Then ask, "What is the thought that is creating this feeling?"
Then ask, "How can I surrender to the Divine Order and Divine timing of life now?"
Then finish with, "What thought feels better?"
If you feel negative (any shade less than positive) then ask, "What is the thought that is creating this feeling?" Once you've identified the thought, you want to do two quick things. First, surrender to the fear or the negative possibility by acknowledging the fact that the Law of Attraction is always at work and if this is the way it's going to be, then so be it - "I'll survive. Because even in death, I survive." Then finish with "What thought feels better?" and reach for a thought that feels better and that you can believe.

To clarify the last step in this process, if you are in the mire of negative mush then saying, "Every person I meet is totally healthy, fit, attractive, vibrantly alive, secure, stable and a match to me now", is probably TOO far out there for you to believe. However, you could easily take a smaller step and reach for a thought that helps you to feel more at peace now and then walk your thoughts up to your ideal.

For example in this situation, you would say, "I know that all is well now. I know the Law of Attraction is now at work in my life and in perfect timing my ideal partner will enter my life. I know that there are people out there that are a match to my desires. I know that others have found partners that were physically attractive and fit and therefore I can too. I know that people of all ages are fit. I know that others have found partners that were stable, mature and confident with their status in life and therefore I can too. I recognize that with every day and every breath, I am seeing more and more people that match my desires. I recognize and appreciate that all is well and that I am now at peace with attracting my love in perfect timing. I am grateful. I am confident. I expect my desires to be fulfilled and I intend to have a relationship with an energy-appropriate partner now! I am at peace."So be it! Amen!

Seven Practices for Peacemakers

1. Sunday: Being for Peace
Today take five minutes to meditate for peace. Put your attention on your heart and inwardly repeat these four words: Peace, Harmony, Laughter, Love☺


2. Monday: Thinking for Peace
Today introduce the Intention of peace in your thoughts. Take a few moments of silence, then repeat this prayer: LET ALL BEINGS BE HAPPY, LOVED & PEACEFUL. LET THE WHOLE WORLD EXPERIENCE THESE THINGS.


3. Tuesday: Feeling for Peace
Today is the day to experience the emotions of peace. The emotions of peace are COMPASSION, UNDERSTANDING and LOVE☺


4. Wednesday: Speaking for Peace
Today, the purpose of speaking is to create happiness in the listener. Have this intention: Today every word I utter will be chosen consciously. I will REFRAIN from complaints, condemnation and criticism.


5. Thursday: Acting for Peace
Today is the day to help someone in need. Help can take many forms. Tell yourself: Today I will offer help without asking for gratitude or recognition☺


6. Friday: Creating for Peace
Today, come up with at least one creative idea to resolve a conflict, either in your personal life or your family circle or among friends. Try to create trust & eliminate hidden hostility & suspicion- the two great enemies of peace.


7. Saturday: Sharing for Peace
Today, share your practice of peacemaking with two people. As more of us participate in this sharing, our practice will expand into a critical mass - reaching many instead of a few.

The Big Three

If you've been a subscriber of mine for any length of time, you know that I speak about the Law of Attraction and its two partners the Law of Deliberate Creation and the Law of Allowing But what are these laws of the Universe?

You may know the law of gravity. Even before anyone put a name to it and figured out its workings, people knew at some level that if you dropped something that it fell and that if you jumped off a cliff there was only way to go - down!

Sir Isaac Newton finally put a name on and created a theory of why gravity worked, but the law of gravity was not created by him - it just existed.

'The Big Three' are Laws of the Universe. They have existed forever, and even before people put a name to it, they could sense their power and reality. Throughout the centuries, people referred to these Laws in a hushed tone.

More recently, these Laws have been rediscovered and names have been put on to them. (For more detailed information be sure to check out Abraham-Hicks.) They were not created - they always existed. So what are these three big laws that everyone has been talking about?

Law of Attraction
Think of a magnet and a piece of metal. You are the magnet and you are attracting things to you. How are you doing this? They are attracted through your thoughts and desires. The Universe does not judge you for what you desire; it just answers your call For instance, if you keep thinking "I have money problems" the Universe will answer by giving you money problems. If instead, you changed your thought to "I want $10,000" and focus on that, the Universe will open up an avenue for you to get that $10,000.

Law of Deliberate Creation
This law is the logical next step in the process. Once you realize that gravity is keeping you on the ground, then you have to figure out a way to fly that takes gravity into consideration. The Wright brothers figured this out when they created their first plane. The Law of Deliberate Creation means that you have the power to change your life. You only have to consciously decide to and the Universe will obey.

Law of Allowing
This law can be condensed to one word - Faith. Once you have put out into the Universe your desire, you must be ready to accept it when it arrives. This is not about guessing it will come. It is about knowing it will come. It is expecting it to come. It is having faith that what you have sent out into the Universe deliberately will come to you just as you asked it to.
As you read my blogs and materials, you will now have a better understanding of the Big Three. They have existed, and you have been living your life according to them and maybe did not even know it. Now that you have put a name to it, you can take control and create the life you really want rather than the life you thought you were stuck with.

Aligning Yourself


All the elements and celestial bodies of this universe work in alignment with each other. The Sun, the planets, the satellites, etc., all operate in perfect alignment. This alignment is required for our world to work well. Just imagine what would happen (actually it is best not to imagine it) if the Universe was not in perfect alignment. Nature works with earnest perfection and requires that her various elements and creations be treated with love and respect so that she can continue to do her job.

Why then does it seem surprising if the Law of Attraction teachings require that people get into alignment with their world in order to enable positive manifestation?

If you want more money, it is essential to get into alignment with its flow. For example, if money is flowing at 35000 feet, can you access it at say 20000 feet? You have to get to the energy space where money is easily available. Your thoughts have to be in perfect alignment with its availability to you.

And let’s say that there is this elusive relationship that plays hide and seek with you, can you find it under the rock or in a hole somewhere? No you have to get into alignment with the flow of it, wherever that flow is.

Getting into alignment with what you want is vibrating its existence so that it is drawn to you. If you vibrate its non-existence, then that is what is drawn. Many times respect for Divine intervention, Divine timing, surrender, letting go, etc., need to be practiced so that the negative ego mind does not play havoc and cause stress and unhappiness. It also indicates a healthy respect for the amazing power of universal creation.

More important than getting into alignment with external factors though, is getting into alignment with your true self.

Your true self is happiness. You true self is joy. When you are in alignment with your true state of boundless joy, you get into alignment with outside elements also. Why? It’s because you will find the Source of it ALL within you.

So if your boyfriend or girlfriend is not giving you what you want, and you have tried everything, check to see if you have tried being happy and feeling a wonderful sense of control over your own sense of self-esteem.

So many different people outside of you influence control over your thoughts, your happiness, your sense of fulfillment, your sense of wonder, and so many situations create holes in your aura draining away important life force.

Without feeling and connecting to your true sense of power, how can this life journey be easy and wonderful?

How many times during the day do you give away your power to something outside of you?
If at all there is anything that you really need to get into alignment with, it’s your sense of wonderful and joyful power generated from the space within you. Your Self is the store house of this power.

Yoga asanas (yoga positions) will help you, especially the ones that strengthen the root/basic chakra and the solar plexus chakra. The word ‘chakra’ means ‘wheel’ in Sanskrit. Chakras are whirring energy centers present in/along your energy/physical body directing the flow of life giving energy to the various parts of you. In addition to taking care of the physical health of the body and its various constituents, these chakras perform other functions as well.

For example, the root chakra grounds you to this world, and helps strengthen your connection to life and the material world. The solar plexus chakra is your house of inner power and your feeling of control over the various aspects of your world. If your solar plexus chakra is weak, you feel a sense of loss of control. Hence you experience butterflies in your stomach when you feel nervous, or your abdomen muscles clench up when you feel stress. You start losing energy immediately when faced with powerlessness.

Now combine these two chakras with your Third eye also known as the Aagnya chakra (this is the actual Sanskrit pronunciation) and you have your ‘will’ working very powerfully for you. Your will focuses into your third eye and gets manifested. There are other chakras that need to be strengthened also in addition to these three. When you strengthen the various energy centers of your body, and take care that your energy field is smooth without trauma vibration, you then create an energy system that is dynamic and attracts good things to it.

Meditation helps tremendously as it enables you to connect to the space of peace within you. The added advantage is that when you meditate, many of your resistances flow away, allowing good to flow to you.

There are manifestation meditations also, but they are more in the nature of ‘suggestive-hypnosis’. The true use of meditation is to obtain deep rest so that your cells have a chance to release negative and toxic energy. Meditation is the true form of letting go and doing nothing. A lot happens when you meditate because your soul releases healing energy to the rest of you bringing you into automatic alignment. Your soul is your true healer and doctor which is why I find that connecting people to their Source works wonderfully. It is easy to know what your true self wants for you!

Make sure that you always take rest in between your creation activity. Your mind is like delicate silk, and you never want to stretch it to the point that it tears. Allow it to expand in a smooth and continuous flow and like I said before, take plenty of rest in between.

The first step of aligning yourself is to align yourself to YOU. Whenever you feel that you are getting stressed, go back to yourself. It is important that every time you forget, you consciously realign yourself with you. The next step is to consciously align yourself with what you want to create.

This universe is created to help you. But it can only help you if you allow it.

The Incredible Power of Focus by Bill Harris



“If I’m creating this, then I’m certainly not doing it on purpose” people say. “It sure seems like this is HAPPENING to me, rather than I’m creating it” .

They just assume that it’s all BS because “this and this and this are going on for me and I have no control over it, and anyone who thinks I’m creating this doesn’t understand what I’m going through” . Essentially, they are resigning themselves to be a victim of their circumstances.
We live in a universe of infinite complexity, and many forces – way too may to keep track of – operate on us. Yes, it’s true that we are NOT in control of everything that happens, because we are not in control of most of those infinite other parts of the universe.

In fact, the only thing you have total and complete control over is.............. YOUR OWN MIND
That is, if you learn how to exercise it

Luckily, this one thing – your mind – that you do have control over gives you tremendous power. By exercising control over your mind, you can get the rest of those infinite other parts of the universe to begin to march in formation.

The key is to become more conscious, more aware....to get yourself off automatic pilot. Once you do this, you stop creating all the dramas and other garbage that you don’t want in your life.
You can help things along, however, by remembering and using a very important piece of wisdom. It’s the fact that whatever you focus on manifests as reality in your life.

FOCUS POSITIVELY
You are always focusing on something, whether you are aware of it or not.
The problem is, this focus is usually not conscious focus, it is automatic focus. We unconsciously focus on something we don’t want, and then when we get it we act like a victim and don’t even stop to think that we created it in the first place.

If you have had a significant negative emotional experience (say, for instance, a relationship in which you were abused or mistreated in some way) a part of you is going to say: “ Okay, I get it. There are people out there who can and will hurt me. Relationships can be dangerous and painful. I have to watch out for these people (or sometimes, relationships in general) and avoid them" .

Unfortunately, to watch out for them and avoid them, you have to focus your mind on “people who could hurt me” or “bad relationships” and that focus just gives you more of what you don’t want to come to you………AND…….actually makes these things you don’t want (at least initially) attractive to you, so when they appear in your life you are drawn to them.
This is why so many people keep having one relationship after another with the same person, but in different bodies.

Focusing on what you do NOT want, ironically, makes it happen. Focusing on being poor makes you poor. Focusing on not making mistakes causes you to make mistakes. Focusing on not smoking makes you want to smoke. And so on. I think you get the idea.

The truth is, your mind cannot tell the difference between something you think about or focus on that you DO want, and something you think about or focus on but do NOT want. The mind is a goal-seeking mechanism, and an extremely attractive one at that.

Most of the time, for most people, all the focusing and thinking is going by at warp speed, on automatic, without much, if any, conscious intention.

FOCUS TO GET THE OUTCOMES YOU WANT
Your job is to learn how to direct this power by consciously directing your focus to get the outcomes you want.

First, you have to discover all the things you focus on that you do not want and I’m willing to bet there are quite a few – way more than you think. Then you have to get very clear about what you DO want. Then, you have to examine each of the things you want and be sure that they are not just something you do NOT want in disguise.

For instance, saying: “ I want a relationship where I am treated well ” would no longer be an issue if you had not had relationships where you were not treated well and so even in making this seemingly positive statement you are focusing on not wanting to be mistreated. Saying “ I want a reliable car ” wouldn’t even come up if you weren’t focusing on the fact that you don’t want a car that breaks down and needs a lot of repairs.

The Solution? Practice. Persistence. Practice.
It’s a very good idea to write down what you want, very specifically. Then, reading what you have written to yourself, preferably out loud, several times a day, whilst seeing yourself, in your mind, already having what you want. The more emotion you can bring to it, the better. Then, take whatever action is available to begin moving towards what you want. A good time to do this reading and visualizing is when you first wake up and right before you go to bed.

START ASKING YOURSELF QUESTIONS
Good questions include: “ How can I get X?” “How can I do Y? ”. By asking these kinds of questions, you get your mind to focus on what you want to do, be or have.
Learn to say “ How can I…? ” when you don’t know what to do, instead of “ I can’t” and (if you are persistent in asking), the universe will send you the answer, every time. Learn to be conscious in what you focus on and your whole life will change.

WHATEVER THE MIND CAN CONCEIVE AND BELIEVE, IT CAN ACHIEVE.
It will take some time to learn how to consciously focus your mind. It will require some effort. You will fail many times and it will seem difficult. But at a certain point, you will “get it” and at that point it will become as automatic as the unconscious focusing you have been doing. When that happens, a whole new universe of power will open up to you.

My Definition of Self Esteem by Virginia Satir




I AM ME


In all the world there is no one else exactly like me.

Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine because I alone choose it. I own everything about me; my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself - I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes, because I own all of me. I can become intimately acquainted with me.

By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me and other aspects that I do not know, but as long as I am friendly and loving myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles for the ways to find out more about me.


However I look and sound, whatever I say and do and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting keep the rest and invent something new for that which I have discarded. I can see , hear, feel, think, say and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me.


I own me, and therefore I can engineer me - I am me and I am okay.

Ten Ways to Hinder the Law of Attraction



This article was a good 'reality check' for me. Sometimes we let doubt and frustration creep up on us without even noticing and wonder why are intentions are not manifesting.


"Why isn't the Law of Attraction working for me?"


This cry of frustration is uttered often by people who are learning to consciously create better lives using the Law of Attraction. After spending weeks trying to raise their vibration, focus their minds and bring forth a better reality, they can't understand why they're not seeing results. Or sometimes they'll see small results which gives them incentive to keep going, but they still don't see improvement where it REALLY counts.


Does this describe you? Have you raised your eyes to the heavens and demanded to know why the Law of Attraction isn't working for you? Or perhaps you've resigned yourself to one of these deadly beliefs:


"It seems to work for other people, but I just can't get it right."


"I must be doomed to failure."


"I knew it wouldn't work, but at least I tried."


"I'm such an idiot; why do I keep getting sucked into these ridiculous schemes?"


"God must really hate me."


Well, wipe those destructive thoughts right out of your mind! Seriously, they won't serve you a bit, though I can understand why you're tempted to believe them - I've been there too!
Here's the good news: the Law of Attraction IS working for you. It works all the time, every time, without exception. If you're not seeing the results you want, the time has come to ask yourself what you're putting out there that is attracting similar energy back into your life.
Before you get angry at me for telling you you're "doing it wrong," please understand that you're probably NOT doing it wrong - but there may be one or two things you're doing that are creating resistance, which slows down your results.


Skim down this list of the most common ways we hinder the Law of Attraction from delivering what we want, and compare them carefully with your own habitual thoughts and feelings:


INDECISION
Do you have a clear vision of exactly what you want? Perhaps you aren't picky, you just want things to be "better" than they are now, whatever that ends up looking like. However, the Universe doesn't want you to settle for "something good," but instead attract EXACTLY what you desire!


What do you desire? Take some time to think about the facets of your life. Think about your job, financial status, relationships, health, body size, vehicle, residence, and more. Are all of these things an accurate reflection of what you would create if you could start over? Make a detailed list of EXACTLY what you want to create for yourself. Write down every tiny aspect you can think of. Then read this list frequently to keep your vision sharp and clear in your mind.


UNWORTHINESS
Do you REALLY believe you deserve the things on your list? What makes you so special that you deserve abundant health, wealth and happiness? That's not a rhetorical question. I'm really asking, what makes you so special? Don't have an answer? How about this: you exist. Someone breathed you into existence and infused you with all these desires, and for what? Why would your desires exist if you weren't meant to experience them?


Until you can understand just how special and unique you truly are, you might resist the abundance and joy the Universe is offering you. Perhaps you feel guilty that others are struggling, so you keep yourself at a lower level so you don't make them feel bad. However, holding yourself back doesn't serve them, or you. Embrace your true worth as a human being and let it be a shining example for all to see. Empower others (and yourself) with the knowledge that they too can create better lives.


DISTRUST
Some of us have a skewed view of the Universe (or God, if that term resonates with you). From an early age, we're taught that we have to comply with certain guidelines and behavioral rules - or else. We see the Universe as some angry force that will deliver a wrath of misery upon us if we do something wrong. It's no surprise that most of us end up feeling like we're walking on eggshells. We actually EXPECT bad things to happen because we've developed such a negative view of the powers that be. We're afraid to ask for what we really want because we might be viewed as greedy, ungrateful or selfish. We're afraid to hope for something better because we might get a lightning bolt up the wazoo.


How about turning this belief around? We can just as easily believe in a loving Universe, one that wants us to do well, be happy, and feel abundant. Rather than approaching the Universe with the mind-set of a scolded child, why not step forward confidently and joyfully and claim ownership of what is already yours? Believe me, the Universe will applaud you for doing so, and reward you beyond your wildest dreams.


DOUBT
Even if you WANT to believe that the Law of Attraction really works, you might be holding back somewhat to protect yourself from disappointment. If you don't give it your "all," you think it won't hurt so badly when it doesn't work out. However, doubt is like a big old rubber doorstop that prevents the gateway of prosperity from opening. You affirm, you visualize, you get clear, and the gate begins to swing inward, creating a crack through which shimmering golden light shines forth. You begin to step forward into your glorious new reality, when "bump!," -- oops, never mind, there's a doorstop there and the gap isn't big enough to let you through. Oh well, better luck next time.


Think of FAITH as the oil that keeps the hinges on the gates of prosperity operating smoothly. If you keep the hinges lubricated and the gates free of any obstructions (doubts) - they will swing right open and you'll be dazzled by what you see on the other side.

DISBELIEF
No matter how badly you want something, if you don't believe it's possible, you will resist it. Perhaps you've set some lofty goals for yourself, things that almost seem too good to be true. Perhaps you want to be a millionaire, but you're currently earning $15,000 per year. Or you want to meet your soulmate, but you long ago convinced yourself that he or she doesn't exist. Turning these negative beliefs around is CRUCIAL to attracting your desires!


For every limiting belief you hold, I want you to take a blank sheet of paper and come up with ten reasons why your desires are POSSIBLE. It's important to make the reasons believable and logical. For example, "It's possible for me to become a millionaire because other people have done it, and some of them started with less than what I have now!" Or, "It's possible that my soulmate exists because I simply haven't met every person on the planet yet. He or she might be searching for me even as I search for him/her!"


Keep repeating these reasons to yourself, until you are absolutely CONVINCED that your desires are indeed possible. It may take time, and it will certainly take lots of repetition, but the stronger your belief is, the more likely you are to attract the end result you desire.


DUALITY
Do your day-to-day thoughts, feelings, and actions paint a very different picture than the affirmations and visualizations you project? Are you affirming your financial prosperity while at the same time worrying about your bills? Both realities CANNOT co-exist in your life. Either you're prosperous, or you're not. Either you're successful, or you're not. Either you're healthy, or you're besieged by aches and pains.


At every possible moment, you need to let go of your old reality - even if it means pretending that the symptoms of lack, struggle, and illness do not exist. At the very beginning, it will be a challenge to do this fully, but if you keep at it day after day, repeatedly turning your attention to thoughts of wellness, abundance, and joy, and focusing less on lack, struggle, and illness, you begin to shift your reality to what you focus on the most.


FEAR
Perhaps you're claiming to want something better, but you also fear it on a deeper level. If you want to be a best-selling author but you fear publicity and fame, guess what happens? You resist the formation of such a reality in your life because it makes you uncomfortable. If you want to be financially abundant but you worry about what others would think of you, resistance is woven throughout your desire for more money. In effect, you're asking for something but also pushing it away at the same time.


One good way to overcome these fears is by facing them on paper. Ask yourself how you would handle people who thought poorly of you for being wealthy. "I'd tell them to mind their own business," might be one response, or "Their opinions of me don't affect my life one way or the other" would work nicely also. If you get clear about your fears, you'll realize that most of them are irrational or irrelevant. Even the ones that hold merit, however, can be worked through and your resistance will dissolve in the light of clarity and purpose.


FORCE
You watched the movie, "The Secret," or read a great book about the Law of Attraction, and now you're all fired up! You're SO DETERMINED to change your life that you proceed full steam ahead. You begin religiously reciting affirmations and performing meditations and visualizations and feeling good at every possible opportunity. After a week or two nothing has happened, so you increase the intensity of your efforts. You start meditating not just for 15 minutes a day, but for two hours a day. Your affirmations become a litany of desperation to make something happen. Still no results, so you work harder, and harder, and HARDER at it - until finally you scream in frustration, utterly exhausted from trying so hard.


Lighten up! I know, that's easier said than done when you're not happy with your current reality. But seriously, the harder you "try," the worse it's going to get. Back off, relax, and just let it happen when it's going to happen. The more relaxed and joyful you can be about the process, the more quickly your desires will come forth. Read more about the process of "allowing," and learn how to BE what you're trying to attract. It's a much simpler way to activate the Law of Attraction, and everything will just FLOW smoothly and easily. No force required. Really.


FRUSTRATION
Speaking of frustration - it's yet another way we hinder the Law of Attraction. When we feel frustrated, we emit an unmistakable signal to the Universe that acts as a beacon to attract more situations to be frustrated about!


Remember the importance of FEELING GOOD! Why is it so important? Because of the signal it puts out to the Universe. The more you feel good, the more you attract situations and experiences that will help you to feel good. I know it's challenging to feel good when things aren't going the way you want, but it's so important to do so anyway! I don't care if you have to slink off to a private place to be alone with your thoughts, or sit in a movie theater to watch a comedy, or go window shopping on your lunch hour. FIND things that make you feel good, and do them as often as possible. It is so, so, SO important! If you have a few moments of frustration here and there, don't sweat it too much, just do what you can to have MORE moments of feeling good than you do of feeling frustration. It will make an incredible difference.


And finally, the Number One way we hinder the Law of Attraction:


IMPATIENCE
Most of the people I hear uttering the weary cry above (Why isn't the Law of Attraction working for me?) haven't been working at it for long. Perhaps a few weeks, maybe even a few months. Believe me, I know the feeling of desperation to get things moving in a more positive direction, but it takes time!


Remember that we're constantly experiencing a RESIDUAL effect of our PAST thoughts, feelings and beliefs. It's unrealistic (though understandable) to want to change it all overnight. But it's not going to happen that quickly most of the time.


Sure, you might see small improvements here and there, which can make you feel like you're making progress. That's a good thing! Just don't despair if you seem to be moving in slow motion through unpleasant circumstances. You're not crazy, you're not doomed to failure, and you're not a complete idiot. The transition you're going through is completely normal.


Simply do what you can to stay positive and keep up with the activities that will attract something better in the future. Be gentle with yourself, and know that this too shall pass. And in the very near future, when you really begin to see this force shifting the circumstances of your reality before your eyes, WOW - you'll be so glad you stuck with it through the tough spots!
The journey is worth it in the end, believe that.

7 Ways To Use the Law of Attraction to Manifest Faster Results


The whole idea of the law of attraction is to be a co creator with God in manifesting the things that are deepest to your heart. When you use the law of attraction in the right way you can experience manifesting your desires at a much faster rate than you ever would have had you not made the effort to use it correctly.



You can use the law of attraction to manifest faster results by taking the following steps.

1. Be Grateful Now
Gratitude can dramatically change your life but best of all it gets the law of attraction to give you more of what you are feeling grateful and happy for. When you are feeling frustrated and down the law of attraction gives you more reasons to feel down. You manifest more situations that make you feel unhappy. So as the first rule to manifesting faster results begin to see all the things in your present life that you are grateful for no matter how simple it is.

2. Speak of It
It may seem hypocritical at first when you learn of the law of attraction to speak of your desires as if they are already here. In reality all things are already created. The moment a thought is conceived you have brought it into your reality. The more you speak of that thought the stronger it becomes and the faster it moves into your state of being. Think of a child who becomes eager about the thing he or she wants. See how eager they are about it? They look up pictures about it, they speak about what they will do when they get it. They don't worry about how or when it will come, they just know and above all they are excited about it. Speak with joy about what will come into your life because your words and thoughts about it feeds that creation and brings it to you faster.

3. Surround Yourself With The Things You Desire
You maybe asking, how can I surround myself with the things that I want if I don't have it? It may not be yours at the moment but you can borrow, you can visit, above all you can place yourself in the environment and among the people who are closely link to the things you desire. The successful application of the law of attraction depends on you already being in that energy of what you want. It is up to you to create the state that you want to attract and you do so by being among the things that you want until it is fully yours. The law of attraction will give you quite easily what you bring into your focus, whether you are speaking of it or observing it. You get more of what you surround yourself with.

4. Let Go!!!
Let go of what you want. Yes, let it go. Know that you desire to experience a particular thing but don't hold on out of fear of doubt. The more you cling on to the needing or wanting feeling the more disastrous your manifesting will be. You will only succeed in feeling more needy. Allow yourself to feel full and confident. Those who understand how the universe and the laws of attraction work easily understand the power of their intention and don't feel stress or needy. They create and know that the law of attraction is working for them and what they create will soon manifest. They create then let go and move into the state of receiving.
There is a great paradox that comes with letting go because a very large part of manifesting requires that you give a lot of focus to your desire but there is a delicate balancing act of focus without feeling needy or being clingy.

5. Learn to Receive
To activate the law of attraction you must move into the state of receiving. This is something most people cannot do. Many people say that they want certain things but few people know how to receive those things that they are asking for. Most people feel doubtful or unworthy about what they want. Deep within they feel that they do not deserve nor will they get what they are asking for. Those tiny feeling of unworthiness are giant blocks in the manifesting process and can only serve in destroying what you are hoping to attract. The law of attraction is a science that takes you deep into your inner nature and allows you to see where you are feeling disconnected as a co-creator with God and the universe. Become worthy and allow yourself to receive.

6. Become Worthy Now
Become worthy by recognizing that you can manifest anything that you want because you are Gods and Goddesses and what you desire is only a tiny speck in the universe. You deserve to manifest what you want because when you are rich you influence those around you in positive ways. When you use the law of attraction to manifest a better life you are in the flow and in a better state of adding value to the world. The faster you can feel worthy of what you desire to manifest the faster it will come.

One of the biggest blocks in manifesting is the feeling of unworthiness that most people feel. God wants you to have, the universe is great enough and there is more than enough for you and everyone else. You are worthy!

7. Give What You Desire Most
You may not have all the money in the world for yourself but you do have something of value and that thing which is of value to you may be in scarce supply to someone else. Give to others and you will be stunned and amazed by how fast the law of attraction will manifest abundance in your life.

There is a natural flow in the universe and in order to manifest more you must also be in the flow of giving. Give to others as long as you do not give more of yourself. There are many flawed concepts of giving more than you have, this is very faulty. Give only what you can, never ever deplete yourself. Give what makes you feel happy to give. Give with love on a regular basis but also be aware of conserving your own and the law of attraction will bless you by bringing to you much more than you give. As you give you will get and you will manifest much more than you could ever have imagined and much.

Oprah's Thumbs Up to the Law of Attraction




OPRAH'S THUMBS UP TO THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

A year ago, Oprah Winfrey opened many people's eyes to the concept of the Law of Attraction in her show about the blockbuster movie The Secret. In fact, it's the first show in which Oprah gives the thumbs up to the Law of Attraction. You can see excerpts of that show here.
It included a panel of experts such as Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, James Arthur Ray, Lisa Nichols, Rhonda Byrne and Jack Canfield, all of whom were contributors to the DVD The Secret and its follow up book. Oprah was a big supporter of the Law of Attraction and its authors. This created a huge media explosion, putting the concept of the Law of Attraction into many minds who had not experienced it before. There was a lot of support and an equal amount of controversy about the Law of Attraction. Oprah had a number of other shows touting the power of the Law of Attraction. Here is a list.

The Secret Behind The Secret


On February 6, 2008, Oprah had a follow up show to the Secret Behind The Secret. See excerpts here.


There had been a lot of talk that the principals of the Law of Attraction were too materialistic. The experts on the show did a good job of addressing it, but I want to address this issue from a societal view.


Abraham Maslow (different Abraham than Abraham-Hicks or Abraham Lincoln, for that matter!) was a famous American psychologist that proposed what has been deemed the hierarchy of human needs.


His theory was that the needs on the bottom of the pyramid were stronger than ones on the top. If the needs on the lower part of the pyramid are not addressed, then people do not generally ascend and take care of their needs higher up. With this in mind, people do not generally think about or have goals that are beyond their current level of need. It is hard to concentrate on self-esteem needs when you're up to your neck in debt.


The Law of Attraction can be used at every level of the pyramid. People will generally set appropriate goals according to where they are in life. Most of the time, this is in the realm of the bottom of the pyramid in the Physiological needs. This may be seen as materialism by those that do not understand that having financial prosperity is more than a 'want'.


You should never feel guilty about wanting financial freedom in your life. These feelings of guilt and unworthiness will only hold you in place. Accept that it is alright to receive abundance. It is much easier to think about things higher on the pyramid when you have a firm foundation beneath you.

The Power of Visualization


SEEING IS BELIEVING:

Visualization is easy to use. Like all the other tools of creation, we use visualization every day to create our experience of reality. Daydreaming, fantasizing, mental rehearsals, and imagination are all examples of visualization. We have all daydreamed about an upcoming vacation or a visit with a favorite friend. Many of us have fantasized about winning the lottery or getting a better job.


Unfortunately, due to lack of knowledge about the power of our images, we also often use visualization to create experiences we do not want in our lives. We mentally rehearse our greatest fears over and over in our minds.


Have you ever imagined how you would respond if you were robbed or attacked, mentally rehearsed an imagined argument with your co-worker, had a daydream about the death of a loved one, or imagined the worst possible outcome to a situation you were experiencing?


If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you are using the powerful force of mental imagery to create things you do not desire in your life. Although humanity has always used some form of mental imagery, it has only been in the last few years that the power of visualization techniques have been taught widely in our society.


Businesses train their employees to use visualization to improve performance and production. Coaches use visualization with athletes because research has shown that mental rehearsal is an effective way to increase athletic performance. Students use visualization to improve test scores while therapists use imagery to enhance relaxation skills.


Dieters are taught to image a thin and beautiful body. Medical scientists have watched the power of mental imagery increase the immune system as well as lower a person’s blood pressure and heart rate; therefore, medical professionals often teach patients visualization techniques to assist in their healing process.


Visualization techniques can be applied to many areas of your life, and if you will use them to consciously create what you want to experience, these techniques will assist you in soaring above the crisis.


Positive Visualization: The two components of an effective positive visualization technique are a clear image of what you want to create combined with a strong positive emotion. Mental images do not always come in the form of a picture. Some people use words, thoughts, or sensations to create a mental image.


You can determine what components you use to create mental images by observing your daydreams or fantasies. Do you see clear pictures, or do your daydreams consist of blurred images with clear thoughts?


Visualization Process The first step in doing a positive visualization is determining what you want to create in your life. If you do not know specifically what it is you want to manifest in your life, you can create with “broad brushstrokes.”


Broad brushstrokes define the general events in your life while omitting the specific details. For instance, you may not know the particular person you would like to have as a life partner, so you visualize yourself in a relationship that is harmonious, joyful, and romantic. You imagine yourself and your future partner sharing a fun and fulfilling life. You generate the feelings of love and joy as you create these images in your mind. Once you have created the broad brushstrokes, you patiently wait as the God force fills in the details of the picture you have created.


If you are certain of the specific details you want to manifest, you can clearly imagine these events in your minds eye. There is nothing wrong with creating something specific; however, manifestation often comes more quickly if you leave the details of your creation to your Higher Self.


If you need a new car, you can trust that God will bring you the very best car possible. Visualize yourself driving a beautiful car without seeing a particular model or color; then wait for God to surprise you with something better than you could have imagined.


Visualization is a powerful tool of consciousness. Combine visualization with prayer, faith, or love to assist you in soaring above any crisis that may come your way.

90. You are not here to try to get the world to be just as you want it. You are here to create the world around you that you choose.
91. And allow the world as others choose to see it, exist as well
92. People think that if everyone knows the power of the LOA there won't be enough to go around .. This is a lie that's been ingrained in us and makes so many greedy.
93. The truth is there is more than enough love, creative ideas, power, joy, happiness to go around.
94. All of this abundance begins to shine through a mind that is aware of it's own infinite nature. There's enough for everyone. See it. Believe it. it will show up for you.

PLAYING TO WIN VS. PLAYING NOT TO LOSE

How many times have you dreamed and worked and waited for a goal, desire, outcome... only to give in or give up on it right before the Universe aligned things perfectly for you to have and enjoy it? It happens sometimes, sadly, that the apparent hurdle that causes one to doubt is actually that last test of trust, of faith that the Universe may offer. The excerpt below sums it up better than I:

"...Often the goal is nearer thanIt seems to a faint and faltering man.Often the struggler has given up,When he might have captured the victor's cup.And he learned too late when the night came down,How close he was to the golden crown.Success is failure turned inside out,The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.And you never can tell how close you are,It may be near when it seems afar.So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit." Author Unknown

Note that last line again: "... when things seem..." No matter what one's current reality may look like on the face of it, stick to your goals and keep your eye on the prize. Do not take 'no' for an answer. Do not be dissuaded by something that may appear to be a setback. When we change the way we look at our current reality, our current reality changes. Adapting our thoughts and our actions helps speed our desires to us. As Winston Churchill once said, "Never give up." After all, you can not fail unless you quit. Simply reprogram your thoughts in a view that supports your vision, the outcome, the desired end goal - and know that the Universe wants you to have it... and now. Intention, a call to action, dedication, persistence...

In 1975, two Seattle-area teenagers, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, had a vision, what I'd call an extreme vision: to put a computer on every desktop and in every home. Back in the '70s, when personal computers were a rarity and mainframes the norm, Gates took his first steps towards this vision. At 17, he co-founded Microsoft. To pursue his goal, Gates dropped out of Harvard. His persistence paid off: Today, approximately 90% of the world's computers run on Microsoft's Windows software.Imagine, for a moment, how Bill's peers and family may have felt when he informed them he'd be dropping out of Harvard. Maybe he took some flack; maybe his parents said, "No!" Maybe others jeered or thought him a bit nutty, right? He was undeterred; he persevered.

It is important to note that, on your quest for your dreams, "no" never means "no." Again, it is a matter of reprogramming our thoughts and actions. Me? If I hear a "no," I assume it is a "maybe" and that I must try again. Perhaps I just asked at the wrong time, in the wrong way, or even the wrong individual.

When Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen began the process of selling their Chicken Soup for the Soul book back in 1991, they flew to New York with their agent and met with every major publisher that would grant them an appointment. Every single publisher said, "Not interested." Why? Because they felt that "...collections of these sorts of stories don't sell" or that "the title will never work." After Canfield and Hansen had been rejected by more than 30 publishers, their agent handed their book back to them saying, "I can't sell this for you."

So, what did Canfield and Hansen do? Instead of giving up, they brainstormed on the next step of action and came up with the idea to print up a form that was a promise to buy their book when it was published. A completed form would list the name, address, and number of books each individual promised to buy. For several months, they asked everyone who attended their talks and seminars to complete the form if they planned to buy a copy of their book when it was published. They eventually got 20,000 promises. The next spring Jack and Mark attended the American Booksellers Association convention in Anaheim CA and went from booth to booth speaking with every publisher they could. Alas, even with the signed pledge forms, they were turned down by all. Still not willing to take "no" for an answer, at the end of the second day of the convention, they gave Gary Seidler, the president of Health Communications Inc., a copy of the first 30 stories of their book. Gary promised that he'd take them home and read them. Later that week, he did just that. Gary loved the stories and decided to give Jack and Mark a chance. After over 130 rejections, that first Chicken Soup for the Soul book went on the market - to sell eight million copies. Its debut launched a series of over 80 best-selling books, books which have been translated into 39 languages! Annually, several new Chicken Soup books are being published.

Oh, and those pledge forms? After the book was published, almost every person who'd promised to buy a book did so - and one of them bought 1,700 copies.

As Dr. Wayne Dyer says, "Think from the end. Highly realized people learn to think from the end--that is, they experience what they wish to intend before it shows up in material form. You can do the same by synchronizing with the power of intention." Remember to be grateful for the synchronicities along the way and the 'coincidences' (there really are no such things!) that ease your path. Rejoice at even the tiniest progress. Raising those vibrations allows more of what you want to reach you - and reach you more easily. Persist: show the Universe that you mean business!

Manifesting - How Does It Work?


Every thought vibrates, and attracts a matching signal back. This is the process of Law of Attraction. Simply put, the Law of Attraction states that which is like unto itself is drawn. What your thoughts are focusing on is what you will attract into your life.

What are you giving your attention to? Just like a radio signal, whatever station you tune into is the signal you will receive.


Our thoughts ignite emotions, whether good or bad, those emotions give out vibrations. Those vibrations are sent out to the Universe and thus manifesting the thoughts we have been concentrating on. We must then find ways of holding ourselves consistently in vibrational harmony with our desires in order to receive their manifestation. If there is something you desire and you put your attention to it, it will come to you. On the other hand if there is something you desire and you focus on the fact that you do not have it, then the Law of Attraction will bring more of what you don't want.


The word Manifesting means: to make something tangible or readily perceived by the senses especially by sight (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). The word can be applied in many ways depending on the context. In relation to the Law of Attraction we can say that we want to materialize our desires, goals & dreams that first take their forms in our minds. This does not mean we have the power to control other people's minds. The Universe gives us free will. If anything, any negative thoughts you are having towards another will only bring negative manifestations into your own life. So becareful what you're thinking! Manifesting empowers us and gives us the ability to create our own reality and make our dreams come true. If you keep picturing and thinking of money, you will start to notice signs from the Universe in different ways, such as pictures of money, or finding money, or someone giving you money. If we continue to believe and visualize having money as if the manifestation has already come, we will eventually create it into our reality. The Universe waits for when we are ready to receive. This means letting go of the desire to the Universe once we've indentified it. Meaning letting go of doubt or worry or how and when it will arrive. Just think about how great it will be to have. Stay in an excited state of mind. You will then give out positive vibrations that will speed up your manifesting. And remember energy flows where attention goes, so even if it's a negative thought, it will manifest if we continue to dwell on it. So use your power wisely and you will see your dreams come true right before your eyes!
